This 29th of July 2011, the splendid natural reserve of Salta, in Argentina, becomes a sordid scene of crime. The bodies of two French tourists have just been found. Hourra Moumni, 24, and Cassandre Bouvier, 29, disappeared two weeks earlier, were coldly dejected. Local justice accuses two peasants in the vicinity, condemning them to 50 years in prison. But after 4 years of counter-investigation, a French journalist, Jean-Charles Chattard, accuses corrupt magistrates of having wanted to protect the real culprits, powerful local notables.
